Welcome to a New School Year!

posted Sep 16, 2014, 9:37 AM by Laurie Dilabio
On behalf of the staff of St. Anne Catholic School, I wish to extend a warm welcome and a very happy new school year to all our returning families and to all of those who are new to our school community. This is an exciting time as old friends reunite and new friendships are made. Along with new students there are many new adult faces in our school this year. I would especially like to welcome Mrs. Laurie Di Labio our new Vice-Principal. We all feel privileged to have the opportunity to work with you and your children this year. Our school is a busy learning community for both staff and students. At St. Anne Catholic School we strive to provide a welcoming, caring, safe and nurturing Catholic environment that respects and celebrates all persons. The School board’s spiritual theme for this year is based on a passage from Paul’s letter to the Galatians; “Restore One Another in a Spirit of Gentleness”. This scripture passage reminds us that as members of a community we are called to care for one another and guide each other to goodness with gentle reminders.

We must all play an active role in the development of each child academically, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Communication between home and school is essential. In hopes of maintaining a strong partnership between home, school and St. Patrick’s Parish, we would like to encourage parents to contact the school with concerns in a timely manner so that issues can be addressed early.
