Sacramental Preparation: The Journey Begins

posted Sep 29, 2017, 6:18 PM by Joseph Cinanni

With the beginning of the school year, many families are looking forward to celebrating with their sons and daughters the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.  This is an exciting time for the children, their families, and the St. Patrick’s Parish community.  These three sacraments strengthen us to live more fully our Christian vocation.  First Reconciliation is celebrated in Lent. First Communion and Confirmation are celebrated in the Easter Season.  Next year Lent begins on February 14, Easter Sunday is April 1, and the Easter Season ends on May 20.  If you are not registered with the parish and would like your child to receive these sacraments in 2018, please visit the church during one of the scheduled masses (Saturday 5:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 am and 11:00 am).

HEAT WARNING - Plan of Action

posted Sep 25, 2017, 7:00 AM by Joseph Cinanni   [ updated Sep 25, 2017, 7:03 AM ]

Good morning parents and guardians,

Although unusual to experience such extreme heat at the end of September, we do have a plan. Recesses will be indoors today and all students in portables will enter the school for the entire day beginning at 10:30.  Students are encouraged to hydrate throughout the day.  If you haven't already, please send in a water bottle with your child (ren). They can have it with them at all times and we do have a water bottle filling station on site.

Thank you and we hope you have a plan to escape the heat as well.
